Mariam Shah is a Realtor serving Durham Region, the GTA, and Clarington, and she has called Durham Region home since 2011. Having watched it grow and evolve over the years; 

Mariam has a deep connection to the community she serves. Born in Toronto to an Irish-Pakistani family, Mariam brings a unique perspective and understanding of the importance of community. With real estate training from Humber College, she specializes in helping families navigate major life transitions—whether it's purchasing a first home, managing a divorce, or transitioning into retirement or elderly care. Her approach is all about listening closely to clients, creating long-term strategies that evolve with their needs, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for them and their families. 

Mariam believes in surrounding herself with the right people—both personally and professionally—as a foundation for success. She’s proud to be a part of Keller Williams and the Family Realty Group, where collaboration and client-focused service are core values. 

Outside of real estate, Mariam is passionate about exploring new restaurants and enjoying food from diverse cultures. Whether it’s savoring a cup of coffee, sipping a well-crafted cocktail, or indulging in a glass of wine, she believes food brings people together. At home, Mariam enjoys spending time with her family and friends and, often with a house full of neighbourhood children. She also owns two large dogs and a cat, adding even more chaos to her home. Watching kids as they get older makes her laugh every day, and it’s a reminder of how important it is to build lasting foundations—whether in family life or real estate. 

Mariam is also an active member of the Parent Council at her children’s school, constantly involved in her local community. Although she isn’t fluent in Urdu, she is comfortable carrying on conversations, allowing her to connect with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Known for her warmth and ability to make others feel at ease, Mariam builds relationships where clients feel both heard and supported.
